The problem
It comes down to what’s on our plates as eating, and therefore growing, the same foods over and over damages the soil, takes excessive natural resources, and deprives us of valuable nutrients. In fact, half of the world’s most productive soil has disappeared in the last 150 years. And that’s partly because we repetitively and intensively farm a small number of crops. By changing what we put on our plates we can help change the foods farmers grow, which will be better for the planet and our health.
