At Knorr, we're committed to regenerative agriculture to protect what's on our plates now and in the future, so that the food we love is accessible, delicious and always giving back to people and planet.
Rice will become Rare
More than half the global population depends on rice to survive. As soon as 2050, rice will likely be a precious commodity, marked at a premium price. This is in large part due to the fact that traditional agriculture methods release harmful emissions that can destroy lands, which means by 2050, there will likely be less rice available (with an extra 2 billion mouths to feed). That is why we're moving towards regenerative agriculture.

Are Knorr products regenerative?
The regenerative journey is one we are embarking on and have made a commitment to. We are presently investing and creating the infrastructure, but as of today, none of our Knorr products are fully regenerative, though we are working with farmers to produce our key ingredients using regenerative practices.
More Plants, Less Meat
To kick off sustainability efforts, Knorr began investing in sustainable sourcing in 2008 and had since delivered >200 supplier sustainability projects.
Our Ingredients
Knorr US has been sustainably sourcing key ingredients for more than 12 years and are currently sourcing 81% vegetables and herbs and 59% of cereals sustainably.
Our Consumers
We all have a role in ensuring the future of food is accessible, affordable, and guaranteed throughout our lifetimes, and that the staples we rely on are available to fuel future generations.
Change what's on your plate with our Future 50 Food Cookbook
We’ve partnered with the WWF to create the Future 50 Foods, a selection of vegetables, grains, beans, legumes, nuts, and seeds from around the world which increase the nutritional value while decreasing the environmental impact of our meals. As the world’s leading experts in flavor we know how to help you turn them into irresistible plant-based meals that are both good for you and the planet.
Our commitment to good food
We're dedicated to making amazing recipes that taste great and help make a difference.
