  • 3 dried ancho chili peppers
  • 3 dried arbol chilies
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. Knorr® Beef Flavor Bouillon Granulated
  • 2 Tbsp. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 3 lbs. beef ribs

  1. Soak chilies in water until softened; remove seeds. Reserve soaking liquid.

  2. Process chilies, vinegar, garlic, Knorr® Beef flavor Bouillon, sugar, paprika and 2 to 3 tablespoons reserved soaking liquid in blender until smooth. Rub all over ribs. Place ribs in large, shallow nonaluminum baking dish. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight.

  3. Preheat oven to 300°. Arrange ribs meaty side up in large roasting pan. Top with any chili mixture left in baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.

  4. Bake 2 1/2 hours or until ribs are tender. Garnish, if desired, with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley.

Hints & Tips

TIP: To use Knorr® Beef flavor Bouillon Cubes in place of Knorr® Beef flavor Bouillon in this recipe substitute 1 bouillon cube for every 1 tablespoon granulated bouillon.
