Sausage & Peppers Alfredo

  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage links, removed from casings and crumbled
  • 2 red and/or green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 1 package Knorr® Pasta Sides™ - Alfredo
  • 1 Cook sausage in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings.
  • 2 Cook red peppers and onion in same skillet in reserved drippings over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  • 3 Bring water and milk to a boil over high heat in same skillet. Stir in Knorr® Italian Sides™ - Alfredo and return to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, 8 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in sausage and vegetables.
