1 package Knorr Selects™ Cavatappi Pasta with Marinara Sauce
2 cups water
1 medium yellow onion
1 1/2 cups frozen peas and carrots
1/4 bunch parsley
1 can (15 oz.) lentils
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Cook Knorr Selects™ Cavatappi Pasta with Marinara Sauce in medium saucepan in 2 cups water according to package directions.
Meanwhile, dice onion and thaw peas and carrots in strainer under warm running water; drain well. Chop parsley and rinse and drain lentils.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add lentils and vegetables, crushed red pepper flakes and garlic and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir hot cooked pasta and chopped parsley into skillet. Serve with grated Parmesan Cheese.
