Three delicious ways to cook shrimp

Cooking tips so you know how to cook delicious shrimp on the grill, boiled and stir-fried

Shrimp are one of the most versatile types of seafood that you can enjoy in many different ways. You can make them grilled, boiled and stir-fried and, however you choose to cook them, they will taste delicious. Make use of these helpful cooking tips so you know how to make perfectly delicious shrimp dishes.

Grilled Shrimp

One of the quickest ways to make them is on the grill. But how do you cook delicious shrimp? One secret to make them tasty is to season the shrimp before putting them on the grill. You can use Knorr® MiniCubes Chipotle seasoning, and a bit of lemon to give it a sour touch. Remember that if you leave the shrimp marinating in lemon for too long, you can end up cooking them, so just do it for about 10 minutes. While they’re grilling, keep in mind to turn them once and cook them a few minutes on each side until they turn pink. If you follow these tips, your grilled shrimp will turn out amazing.

Boiled Shrimp

This cooking method is good for you, because you barely need any oil to cook and the shrimp will always turn out delicious. Just make sure that the water or broth, if you’re making pozole, covers the shrimp completely, and lower the heat so that they don’t stick while cooking. Another tip is that you add Knorr® Shrimp Flavor Bouillon to the water, so that the shrimp will absorb the flavor while cooking. Lastly, how do you know when they are cooked? When you see that the thickest part of the meat starts to turn opaque, and that some of the shrimp are beginning to float, remove them from the water.

Stir-Fried Shrimp

One of the best ways to eat shrimp is stir-fried and served with rice. But getting the shrimp to stay golden, crispy and delicious has its secrets. First, make sure you have seasoned the shrimp. Then you should spread a little oil or butter in the pan, so that the shrimp are well browned and do not stick. Make sure the pan is very hot before frying the shrimp. Finally, leave some space between the shrimp when frying, to keep them from sticking together. Remove them from the fire when you see that they change color.
