Quick Bolognese Sauce
Try creating our delicious yet simple recipe for Quick Bolognese Sauce | Full of Flavour | Knorr
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 celery stick, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 Knorr Beef Stock Pot dissolved in 175 ml boiling water
- 1 tsp dried oregano or Mediterranean herbs
- 400 ml pasta (optional)
- 20 grams Parmesan and/or basil leaves to garnish (optional)
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and add the carrots, onion, celery and garlic. Cook on gentle heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring regularly until the vegetables soften but do not brown.
Add the beef and cook until browned.
Add the tomato puree, Knorr Beef Stock, herbs and passata. Bring back to the boil, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
