Organic Spicy Beef Jerk One Pot
- 1 Knorr Organic Beef Stock Pot
- 700 g beef shin chopped into 2 cm pieces
- 800 ml water
- 300 ml 0% fat crème fraîche
- 360 g cooked rice
- 2 onions diced
- 2 tbsp jerk spice paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- a handful of coriander
Dice 700g of beef shin (into 2cm pieces) and dice 2 onions.
Heat the oil in an oven-proof pan. Add the beef shin, diced onions and jerk spice paste and cook until softened (and the beef has browned).
Make up 1 Knorr Organic Beef Stock Pot with 800ml of hot water, pour into the pan and bring to the boil.
Cover the dish and cook in the oven at 140C for 2 and a 1/2 hours, or until the beef is soft and tender.
Remove the lid and cook for a further 30 minutes or until it has reduced to a stew.
Remove the dish from the oven and stir in the creme fraiche. Simmer if the sauce still needs to thicken some more.
Serve with rice and a sprinkling of coriander leaves.
