  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped (about 1 3/4 cups) [425 mL]
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup) [125 mL]
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup) [125 mL]
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Knorr ® Harissa Seasoning Blend
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) salt
  • 8 ounces (227 g) lean ground beef
  • 8 ounces (227 g) ground lamb
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) raisins, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) cocktail peanuts, ground
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
  • 1 can (398 mL) whole peeled tomatoes, crushed

  1. COMBINE onions, parsley, cilantro, garlic, Knorr® Harissa Seasoning Blend and salt in medium bowl. Remove and set aside half of the mixture. Combine remaining onion mixture, beef, lamb, raisins and peanuts. Shape into 32 (1-1/4-inch) [3.2 cm] meatballs; chill.

  2. HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook reserved onion mixture, stirring frequently, until lightly golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a simmer; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

  3. ADD meatballs and return to a simmer. Simmer covered, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is thickened, about 20 minutes. Now it's delicious. Dig in!
