  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1 cup / 250 mL)
  • 3 large cloves garlic, finely chopped (about 1 1/2 Tbsp. / 22 mL)
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) Knorr ® Garam Masala Seasoning Blend
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) salt
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.5 mL) ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 medium - head cauliflower, cut into florets (about 5 cups / 1.25 L)
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, grated * or very finely chopped (about 2 cups / 500 mL)
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled, cubed and boiled until tender (about 2 cups / 500 mL)

Aloo Gobi
  1. Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat and cook onion, garlic, and ginger, stirring occasionally, until onion begins to soften, about 6 minutes. Stir in Knorr® Garam Masala Seasoning Blend, turmeric, cumin, salt and cayenne pepper and cook, stirring, 1 minute.

  2. Stir in cauliflower, tomatoes and cooked potatoes and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until cauliflower is crisp-tender and potatoes are heated through, about 10 minutes.
