  • 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground turkey or beef
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Knorr® Concentrated Beef Bouillon, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Knorr ® Za’atar Seasoning Blend
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) olive oil
  • 1 zucchini, sliced lengthwise 1/4-in/6mL thick
  • 1 yellow squash, sliced lengthwise 1/4-in/6mL thick
  • 1 large red bell pepper, quartered, seeded
  • 1 small red onion, quartered
  • 1 can (440 g.) low sodium lentils, rinsed and drained

Grilled Kofte and Vegetables with Lentils
  1. Combine ground turkey, 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Knorr® Concentrated Beef Bouillon and Knorr® Za’atar Seasoning Blend in large bowl; form into 4 oval shaped patties (kofte).

  2. Combine remaining 1 Tbsp (15 mL) Bouillon and olive oil in large bowl; add vegetables and toss to coat.

  3. Grill vegetables 10 minutes, turning once, and kofte 15 minutes, turning once until kofte are thoroughly cooked and vegetables are lightly charred and tender.

  4. Cool vegetables slightly and coarsely chop. Combine with lentils and arrange on serving platter. Top with kofte and serve, if desired, with plain yogurt, lemon wedges and chopped parsley or mint.
