Looking for an easy but delicious soup recipe? This one combines both chicken breasts and thighs, lots of veggies, wild rice and of course the secret ingredient, Knorr Zero Salt Chicken Bouillon. Easy soup never tasted so good!

  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 medium carrots, halved lengthwise, then sliced
  • 4 ribs celery, sliced
  • 8 cups (2 L) water
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Knorr® Zero Salt Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 cup (250 mL) uncooked wild rice
  • 8 ounces (225 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-in/2.5 cm chunks
  • 8 ounces (225 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-in/2.5 cm chunks
  • 7 ounces (200 g) shiitake mushrooms, sliced

  1. Heat oil in large pot over medium-high heat and cook onion, carrots and celery, stirring occasionally, until onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.

  2. Add water, Knorr® Zero Salt Chicken Bouillon and wild rice and whisk to combine. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered 25 minutes..

  3. Stir in chicken and mushrooms and cook, covered, over medium-high heat until rice is tender and chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 15 minutes.
