Sticky Chicken Wings

Wings are a favourite for both kids and adults. This recipe makes use of ginger ale and brown sugar for extra yumminess.

  • KNORR chicken stock 16g
  • Ginger ale 50ml
  • 2 green chillies, chopped 10ml
  • 2 cloves garlic 10ml
  • Ground black pepper 5ml
  • Tomato paste 65g 50ml
  • Allspice 2,5ml
  • Brown sugar 36g 30ml
  • Chicken wings 800g

  1. Mix all the ingredients except the chicken in a bowl

  2. Add the chicken wings and ensure that they are all well coated. Allow to stand for 15 minutes

  3. Place the chicken wings on a sheet of tin foil and fold to seal the edges

  4. Bake in the oven at 18 degrees for 55 minutes or place on a rack over a hot fire, turning regularly

  5. Serve with potato, yam, rice or salad
