Honey and Lemon Marinated Chicken

  • KNORR chicken stock 24g
  • Paprika powder 15ml
  • Honey 30ml
  • Crushed chilli flakes 15ml
  • 8 Chicken pieces 1kg
  • Fresh thyme, chopped 5ml
  • Fresh parsley, chopped 10ml
  • 3 cloves garlic 15ml
  • Vegetable or olive oil 75g 75ml
  • Lemon juice 75ml
  • Ground black pepper 5ml
  • Boiling water 100g 100ml

  1. Place all the ingredients except the water and chicken in a bowl

  2. Add the boiling water and mix well

  3. Add the chicken pieces and allow to marinade for 30 -60 minutes

  4. Place in tin foil and pour the remaining marinade over it.

  5. Close the foil and place in the oven at 180 degrees or over hot coals

  6. Serve with salad or potato or yam
