A classic yet simple dip made with chickpeas, lemon juice, cumin and garlic with vegetable soup mix for added texture and flavour.

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cans (540 mL ea.) chick peas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 package Knorr® Vegetable Dry Soup Mix
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) ground cumin

  1. Process garlic until finely chopped in food processor. Add Knorr® Vegetable Dry Soup Mix and remaining ingredients; process until smooth. Chill at least 2 hours.

  2. Stir hummus before serving. If desired, add 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 ml to 30 ml) additional olive oil. Serve with your favorite dippers.
