Precaliente el horno a 325°. Desmorone el cubo de Knorr® Caldo con sabor de Res y frota uniformemente sobre la carne. (Si usando caldo granulado, espolvoree sobre la carne y presione ligeramente.) Caliente el aceite en una cacerola grande apta para hornos o en una olla de hierro con tapa, sobre fuego medio-alto y cocine la carne, volteándola una vez, hasta que quede dorada. Retire del fuego y aparte.

Cocine los pimientos y la cebolla en la misma olla o cacerola sobre fuego medio-alto, revolviendo frecuentemente, hasta que estén dorados, aproximadamente 5 minutos. Agregue el ajo y cocine hasta que esté aromático. Incorpore los tomates y las 2 cucharaditas restantes del caldo granulado. Agregue la carne a la olla nuevamente. Cubra y hornee por 3 horas o hasta que la carne esté bien suave.

Saque la carne y desmenúcela con un tenedor. Regrese la carne desmenuzada a la cacerola que contiene la salsa y déjela hervir a fuego lento por unos 10 minutos. Sírvala sobre arroz cocido caliente.
