Dora las costillas en una sartén antiadherente grande a fuego medio-alto. Retira y coloca en olla de cocción lenta. Agrega la cebolla, las zanahorias, ajo y tomillo.

Escurre la grasa de la sartén. Agrega 1 taza de agua y Knorr® Classic Brown gravy mix, revuelve bien y raspa los restos del fondo de la sartén. Vierte sobre las costillas de res.

Tapa y cocina a temperatura baja (“LOW”) durante 8 horas o hasta que las costillas estén tiernas. Coloca las costillas y las verduras en un plato para servir, y cubre para mantener caliente.

Retira el exceso de grasa de la olla, si lo deseas. Espesa la salsa revolviendo la harina con las 2 cucharadas restantes de agua en un tazón pequeño. Agrega a la olla de cocción lenta y deja cocinar a temperatura alta (“HIGH”) hasta que espese, aproximadamente 5 minutos. Sirve las costillas y las verduras.
