- Hae Mee Tng pasta Ingredients
- 1 kg of whole prawns with shells and heads on
- 1 large carrot, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 10 shallots
- 50 g gula melaka
- 60 g dried prawns
- 60 g dried oysters
- 60 g dried ikan bilis
- 3 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon white peppercorns
- 3 star anise
- 5 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 litres water
- 3 cubes chicken stock cube
Cooking Methods

In a large pot, place all the ingredients and bring to a boil

Let it simmer for 1 hour

Add the fresh prawns to the pot and cover it with a lid and turn off the heat
