Spicy Chicken Livers with Spinach

  • Oil
  • Chicken Livers, cleaned
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Medium curry powder
  • Ground peri peri
  • Ground paprika
  • Coarse ground black pepper
  • KNORR chicken cubes
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
  • Spinach, finely chopped

  1. Heat the oil in the pan and brown the livers.

  2. In the same pan, fry the onions, garlic and chillies.

  3. Add the curry powder, paprika and peri peri and fry for 2 minutes.

  4. Add the tomato, crumbled KNORR chicken stock and black pepper and simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. Stir in the chopped spinach and simmer for a further 5 minutes.

  6. Stir in the livers and simmer for 2 minutes.

  7. Serve with bread or rice.
