  • ½ Onion, sliced
  • Oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • KNORR chicken cubes, crumbled
  • Blended tomato, red pepper and chilli mix
  • Peri peri spice
  • Fresh thyme, chopped
  • Paprika
  • Sugar
  • Chopped spring onions
  • Coarse black pepper
  • 8 chicken thigh / drumsticks

Peri peri chicken
  1. Fry the onion and garlic in the oil until lightly browned.

  2. In a bowl, mix the crumbled KNORR chicken cubes, peri peri spice, paprika, coarse black pepper, chopped thyme, herbs, sugar.

  3. Coat the chicken breasts well with the spice mix and then fry in the same pan as the onion until browned.

  4. Add the chilli, tomato, pepper mix and chopped spring onions and simmer for 15 minutes.

  5. Serve with rice or chips.
