  • Stewing Beef cut into cubes
  • Ginger ale
  • Crushed red chilli
  • Coarse black pepper
  • 1 Tomatoes
  • Knorr Beef cubes
  • Fresh spinach (20 medium leaves)
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Tomato
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Corn starch
  • Cold water

  1. Cut the meat in cubes and brown in some vegetable oil in a pot.

  2. Add the ginger ale, chilli flakes, black pepper and 1 chopped tomato and KNORR beef cubes. Cover and simmer for 1 ½ hours until the meat is tender.

  3. In the meantime, wash the spinach, remove the stems, and cut up roughly.

  4. Slice the onion into thin rings and the tomato into slices.

  5. Mix the corn starch with the water and add to the meat and stir while it thickens.

  6. Add the spinach, onion, rings, tomato slices and fresh thyme to the pot, cover and simmer until the vegetables are done.

  7. Serve with rice.
