Ingredients

  • KNORR beef stock 24g
  • Fresh thyme 10ml
  • Boiling water 500g 500ml
  • Vegetable oil 15g 15ml
  • Beef sausages 450g
  • Black pepper ground 5ml
  • 2 onions 320g
  • 3 carrots 210g
  • 2 red peppers 180g
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Red chilli flakes 15ml
  • Tomato paste 18g 15ml
  • Parsley 15ml
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes 400g

Cooking Methods

  1. Heat the oil in a casserole dish, over medium-high heat and brown the sausages. Remove the sausages and set aside. Add the onions, carrots and red pepper to the dish and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the tomato paste, thyme, chilli flakes and chopped parsley and cook through for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the water, crumbled bouillon cubes and tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

  2. Return the sausages to the pot, and cover with a lid. Simmer for 30 mins
