Let’s begin by blanching the beef. Get a pot and place the beef in. Fill it with water and allow this to boil over high heat while uncovered. Throw the liquid and set the beef aside.
Grab another pot and return the beef. Pour 4 cups of water with one sliced onion and a few pieces of pamintang buo. Did you know that adding onions and pamintang buo will give a more flavourful broth and aromatic smell? Allow to simmer until the beef is tender. Set this aside after.
Now, get a shallow pan nice and hot over medium high heat. Pour some oil and throw in the garlic and one sliced onion. Pour the tomato sauce in with the Knorr Beef Cubes.
Sprinkle the sugar to add sweetness to the dish and pour the reserved broth from the boiled beef. Just let this boil before adding the saging na saba, potatoes, eggplant, baguio beans, small cabbage and pechay.
This dish is almost done, just add the beef back and simmer for about 10 minutes and that’s our dish!
You will definitely have seconds after you’ve tried Pochero Rico because it’s a true winner!
