  • 200 g pork belly, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 small pc red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, cut into strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 pcs ripe tomatoes, cubed
  • 2 tbsp shrimp paste (bagoong)
  • 2 cups squash, cubed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pc Knorr Shrimp Cube
  • 1 bunch sitaw, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 pc small ampalaya, sliced thinly
  • 1 -2 eggplants, sliced
  • 6 -8 pcs okra, sliced

Pinakbet Recipe
  1. Fry pork belly in hot oil until brown and crispy. Drain and set aside.

  2. Using the same pan, saute onions, ginger, garlic. Add tomatoes and continue sautéing until soft. Then Add shrimp paste. Mix well.

  3. Add squash, water and Knorr Shrimp Cube. Cover and let cook over medium heat for 8 minutes.

  4. Add sitaw, ampalaya, eggplants and okra. Mix and cover. Let cook for another 5-8 minutes. Serve warm.
