  • 1 Knorr vegetable stock pot dissolved in 750 ml boiling water
  • 800 g of pumpkin peeled and cut into chunks
  • 100 ml natural yogurt
  • 25 g butter
  • 15 g fresh root ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 or 2 tbsp of runny honey
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
  • 4 slices of bread
  • Bat shaped food cutters
  • A sprinkling of novelty spiders

  1. Grate the ginger, crush the garlic cloves, chop the onion and pumpkin

  2. Melt the Flora Butter in a large saucepan. Cook on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables soften but do not brown

  3. Add the ginger, honey and Knorr Vegetable Stock and bring to the boil. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the pumpkin is soft

  4. Stir in most of the plain yoghurt and place in a food processor. Blend until smooth

  5. Serve garnished with a spooky swirl of the remaining natural yoghurt, add black pepper and a sprinkle of coriander if used

  6. Pop bread in the toaster and cut out in ‘bat style’ to add a spooky garnish to finished dish

  7. To create the cobwebs, slowly pour the natural yoghurt in round motions on top of the soup. Once you’ve done this, use a spoon to slowly pull the yoghurt into points, creating the cobweb shape

  8. To finish – simply serve with a spooky side helping of spiders!
