Serves
450 grams lean beef mince
60 grams breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons semi-skimmed milk
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 egg lightly beaten
2 tablespoon Flora Buttery
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion finely chopped
200 grams chestnut mushrooms sliced
1 Knorr Beef Gravy Pot
280 ml water
50 grams half-fat soured cream
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Combine beef mince, breadcrumbs, milk, garlic and egg in a large bowl. Shape into 4 oval minced meat steaks.
Melt 1 tablespoon of Flora Buttery in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, turning the steaks once. Remove steaks and keep warm.
Melt remaining tablespoon Flora Buttery and olive oil in the same pan over medium heat and cook the onions for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes until lightly browned.
Add the water and Knorr Beef Gravy Pot and whisk gently as you bring it to the boil. Return steaks to the pan. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until steaks are done. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley.
