  • Knorr chilli con carne seasoning mix
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • 1 onion finely sliced
  • 2 clove garlic minced
  • 400 gram tin kidney beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 tin tomato puree
  • 2 squares dark chocolate bar
  • dash olive oil
  • 240 grams rice to serve

  1. Heat a large pot with some olive oil.

  2. Sauté the onion with the garlic for 4-5 minutes until it becomes translucent.

  3. Add the mince and cook until browned.

  4. Stir in your Mealmaker, followed by the chopped tomatoes & tomato puree.

  5. Bring the mixture to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes before adding in the beans.

  6. Bring the mixture back to the boil and simmer for a further 5 minutes.

  7. Grate in the dark chocolate. Serve with rice and enjoy.
