Getting families to #CheatOnMeat

When only one third of UK children get two portions of fruit and veg a day, we asked ourselves why? Bangers and mash, spaghetti Bolognese, cottage pie – we found out that 64% of families are eating meat four times a week.

Tasty as it may be, we all know we should be packing a bit more veg into our diets. We’re here to inspire Britain with more veggie dishes and show how delicious veggies dishes can really be thanks to Knorr Veggie Stocks.

With Knorr’s flavours and expertise, we will get families of Britain to cook and eat meat-free meals, more often which is better for you and our planet.

Together, let’s #CheatOnMeat.

More Veg with Meat-free meals

The planet gives us over 50,000 edible plants. So, it’s hard to believe we only really eat 12 of them. Yes, that’s right – 12. It may sound unbelievable, but when UK families eat two pieces of meat to one portion of veg, it’s obvious we’re not eating enough vegetables as we should be.

Using Knorr Veggie Stocks, we’re on a mission to get the nation to cook meat-free meals, more often. Are you with us?

The Hairy Bikers

The Hairy Bikers

Long-time lovers of all things meaty, The Hairy Bikers, have helped us show the nation that even the staunchest meat-lovers can fall in love with meat-free meals.

Our two (hairy) friends have been on a journey – at the beginning, their diets were mostly meat-based dishes, but after a bit of convincing and a lot of tasting, The Hairy Bikers are happily onboard with meat-free meals, now more than ever.

We’ve teamed up to show the rest of Britain that with the right flavour base, like Knorr Veggie Stocks, it’s easy to jam-pack taste into veggie dishes.

What's stopping you?

As much as 64% of parents are keen to try meat-free meals, the only thing is – more than a quarter of parents just feel stuck in their routines, lack the confidence and knowledge when it comes to flavours and the skill when it comes to the cooking.

When nutritious meals are brought together with the right flavour – meat-free can definitely be moreish. So, we’re showing families how to Master Meat-free with Knorr.
