  • 1 A good dish starts with a flavorful marinade. First, you need to combine calamansi juice and Knorr Liquid Seasoning. Set this aside in the chiller for about 15-20 minutes.
  • 2 Next, separate the beef from the marinade by draining on a strainer. Make sure to set the mixture aside because this will be part of the sauce ingredients.
  • 3 Once done, we can now prepare the stuffing by laying the beef on a baking tray and arranging the hotdog, eggs, pickles, and carrots on top. Roll the beef and secure with a roasting string or trussing it with toothpicks to prevent the filling from spilling out. Now, do the same with the rest of the ingredients.
  • 4 Next, get a pan and make it nice and hot. Pour some oil and over high heat, sear the beef pieces on all sides. Make sure you do not overcrowd the pan to prevent the meat from steaming. Sear until you get a nice brown color. After, transfer the seared beef to a plate.
  • 5 In the same pan, throw in the onions and saute until tender before adding the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Knorr Beef Cube and the reserved marinade. Stir and mix well.
  • 6 Now, place the seared rolled beef into the sauce. Drop in the bay leaves then simmer beef over medium-low heat, covered, until tender.
  • 7 Once the beef is tender, remove from the sauce and transfer on a plate. Adjust the seasoning of the sauce by adding sugar and pepper. Continue to simmer the sauce until desired consistency is achieved.
  • 8 Before slicing the beef into 1/2 inch pieces, make sure you remove all roasting ties or toothpicks. Arrange the sliced beef on a plate, pour the sauce over and there you have it. Your Classic Beef Morcon. This dish is all about love and effort! With those lovely colors and fillings, you know for sure it's a fantastic dish!
