  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 5 pcs tofu
  • 1 pc onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1 sachet (15 ml) ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 pc Knorr Chicken cube
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 bundle pechay

SWEET AND SOUR TOKWA
  1. Let's start by preparing the tofu. Get a medium pan, make it nice and warm over high-medium heat, add oil then start to fry to tofu cube until all sides are golden brown. Once cooked, remove from oil, strain and set aside.

  2. Using the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion until soft and aromatic. Add in the ketchup, vinegar, water and Knorr chicken cube. Bring to a simmer and let the cube dissolve.

  3. Lower the heat and bring to a simmer. Add the sliced pechay and cubed tofu. Stir and continue to simmer until the vegetables are cooked. Serve hot!
