Pochero Rico
  1. In a pot of water, boil the beef over high heat while uncovered for about 5 minutes. Remember to remove all the scum rising to the top of the surface. Drain the beef and throw the liquid. Set the beef aside.

  2. Grab another pot and return the beef. Pour 4 cups of water and add the aromatic vegetables and spices, half of the sliced onion and a few pieces of pamintang buo. Allow to simmer until the beef is tender. This set will allow some of the flavors to penetrate the inside of the meat. Set this aside after.

  3. Now, get a shallow pan nice and hot over medium high heat. Pour some oil and throw in the garlic and one sliced onion. Pour the tomato sauce in with the Knorr Beef Cubes.

  4. Sprinkle the sugar to add sweetness to the dish and pour the reserved broth from the boiled beef. Just let this boil before adding the saging na saba, potatoes, eggplant, baguio beans, small cabbage, and pechay.

  5. This dish is almost done, just add the beef back and simmer for about 10 minutes and that’s our dish!
