  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 pcs. tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 pcs Knorr Pork Cube
  • ¼ cup monggo
  • 4 cup water
  • ¼ cup malunggay leaves

  1. Begin by getting a pot and fill it with water and monggo. Over medium heat, allow to simmer until monggo is tender.

  2. You can mash half of the monggo seeds to thicken the sauce until you get the right consistency.

  3. In a separate pot, over medium heat. Saute onions, garlic and tomatoes. Pour this in to the monggo mixture.

  4. Throw in the Knorr Pork Cubes and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Taste to check the seasonings.

  5. Top malunggay leaves and just allow to cook for another minute. And that’s our dish. When you think of Monggo you will think of home. Its like mom and her simple cooking. Never fails to bring joy to the family.
