    Serves

  • 1/2 kg Chicken Wings
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
  • black peppercorns, crushed
  • 1 pack Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original
  • flour, as needed
  • 2 pcs. fresh whole eggs, beaten
  • breadcrumbs as needed
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1¼ cup honey
  • oil for deep-frying, as needed

  1. For a more flavourful and juicy chicken, begin by poaching the chicken wings – which has been seasoned with salt and garlic - in water. When done, remove the chicken from the liquid and allow it to drain. Then, pat it dry with a paper towel.

  2. It’s now time to add the flavouring by rubbing Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original unto the chicken. Coat this with flour, shaking off any excess, then dip in beaten eggs before finally coating in breadcrumbs. The chicken is not yet done because this will be tossed with another layer of coating made by combining the following ingredients: butter, Tabasco sauce, sesame oil and honey.

  3. It’s now time to deep-fry the chicken wings until they are nice and crispy.

  4. Finally, the wings are ready to be shared and enjoyed by everyone. They will truly not disappoint especially when you serve them with your favorite dipping sauce.
