  • 1 whole chicken,cut into serving pieces
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 pc bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp whole black peppercorns, crushed
  • 1 (33 g) pack Knorr Ginataang Gulay Mix
  • 2 cups water

  1. Begin by getting a pan and make it nice and hot over high heat. Pour some oil and sear the chicken pieces in until brown. Remove and set aside.

  2. In the same pan, throw in the garlic and pour the vinegar. Allow to simmer for a minute without stirring. Wait for the strong vinegar aroma to evaporate.

  3. Gently return the seared chicken pieces and just saute for 3 minutes.

  4. Pour in the soy sauce, bay leaf, peppercorns and Knorr Ginataang Gulay Recipe Mix dissolved in 500 ml water.

  5. Finally, cover the pan and allow to simmer until the chicken is cooked through. And that's our dish!

  6. When your family sees a serving of Ginataang Adobo on the table, with matching steamed white rice, you know for sure that there will be non stop eating. Its that good!
