  • 4 cups water
  • 1 pc onion, quartered
  • 2 pcs ripe native tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 pc medium sized gabi, peeled and quartered
  • 1 pc medium sized raddish, peeled and sliced
  • 5 strings sitaw, sliced into 2 and ½-inch pieces
  • 2 pcs okra, sliced in half
  • 1 (20g) pack Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original
  • 1/2 kg left-over lechon, cut into serving size
  • 1 bundle kangkong, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 pc siling pang-sigang

Christmas Sinigang na Lechon
  1. Let’s begin by boiling 4 cups of water and adding the onions, tomatoes and gabi. Cook until the gabi is tender.

  2. Mash half of the gabi to thicken the broth then just throw in the radish, sitaw and okra. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes.

  3. Pour the contents of Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original then just allow to simmer before adding the lechon, kangkong and sili. Just wait for another 2-5 minutes and this dish is done!

  4. What can be more joyful to eat than lechon and sinigang in one dish. It’s truly delicious!
