  • 1 kg beef (mechado cut)
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 pc red onion
  • 1.5 L water
  • 3 pcs potatoes, cubed
  • 1 pc carrot, cubed
  • 1 pc red bell pepper
  • 1 pack tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce
  • ½ cup green peas
  • ½ cup corn
  • 4 pcs laurel leaves
  • 1 pc Knorr beef cubes 10g
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • ground pepper

  1. In a large pot, sauté garlic and onion in a pan until soft and transparent in color. Fry the beef, cook until outside becomes brown.

  2. Add 1.5 L water and tomato sauce. Lower the heat to medium and simmer until the meat is fork-tender. This step might take around 30 mins depending on the quality of the meat. Remember to remove any scum that rises to the top of the liquid.

  3. Add laurel leaves, soy sauce, potatoes, carrots, green peas, corn, and Knorr Beef Cubes.

  4. Add in pepper, sugar, and bell pepper. Cover and simmer for a few minutes.

  5. Add soy sauce, sugar, and pepper according to taste.
