    Serves

  • 1/2 kilogram potatoes, peeled
  • 1/4 cup all purpose cream
  • 1 tbsp basil leaves
  • chopped pepper
  • to taste sugar
  • For the beef caserole:
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 pcs onion, chopped
  • 1 bulb garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 kilogram beef sirloin
  • 2 tbsp Knorr Liquid Seasoning
  • 1/2 can button mushroom
  • 1 pc chorizo de bilbao
  • 1/2 can tinned cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pc Knorr Beef Cubes
  • 1/2 cup all purpose cream
  • 1/2 tsp Spanish paprika
  • 1 pc medium carrot, chopped
  • 1 pc green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 150 g mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter

  1. Let’s begin this recipe by preparing the mashed potatoes. Cut the peeled potatoes in chunks and boil in a pot filled with water. Cook them until soft or until the potatoes no longer stick when a knife is stuck into them. When soft, mash them using a fork or a potato ricer. Add all-purpose cream, basil, pepper and season to taste. Set aside.

  2. Now, let’s start to make the casserole: Get your pan nice and hot over medium heat and sauté in the onions and garlic, add the beef sirloin then add the Knorr Liquid Seasoning.

  3. When the beef is cooked, add the mushrooms and the Chorizo de Bilbao, and let the oils and flavors release.

  4. Pour in the cream of mushroom soup next then add the Knorr Beef Cubes, all-purpose cream and the Spanish paprika. Let this simmer before dropping in carrots, green bell pepper, and ground pepper.

  5. Continue cooking until veggies are tender then transfer to a baking dish.

  6. Cover the casserole with the mashed potatoes then dot with butter on top. Finally, for that added flavour, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese on top.

  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes and that’s our dish. Expect hugs and kisses from your family when you serve this wonderful dish to them. It’s made with love.
