Ingredients for Sotanghon Soup
For the atsuete oil:
- 1 tbsp atsuete seeds
- 2 tbsp oil
For the chicken sotanghon soup:
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped finely
- 1 pc small onion, chopped coarsely
- 1 pc chicken breast, shredded
- 1 tbsp atsuete oil
- 3½ to 4 cups water
- 2 pcs Knorr Chicken Cubes
- 1 cup sotanghon, soaked in water for 15 minutes
- 1 cup baby bok choy, shredded
- 1 cup spinach leaves (optional)

- fried garlic, for garnish
How to Cook Chicken Sotanghon
Step 1
Make the atsuete oil: Boil atsuete seeds in oil. Strain seeds and set oil aside.
Step 2
Make the soup: Heat oil in a pot over medium flame. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
Step 3
Add chicken and sauté until cooked through.
Step 4
Add atsuete oil and water. Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add Knorr Chicken Cubes and sotanghon. Stir and let simmer. Add bok choy and spinach. Top with green onions and fried garlic. Serve hot.
