Broccoli has an undeserved bad rep among children. The green exterior of this superfood can be intimidating, but once cooked, the taste turns bitter to sweet. That’s why beef broccoli works well as a dish. The sweet and tender broccoli balances out the meaty flavor of the beef.
Kids sometimes feel reluctant to eat this dish when they see the greens. But as a parent, you shouldn’t feel discouraged when the kiddos refuse to take a bite of any vegetable you serve. Children need lots of nutrition every day to grow healthy and strong. Eating junk food can fulfill hunger, but it lacks substance and essential nutrients. Around 3 out of 10 Filipino kids are too short or thin for their age, making them more susceptible to diseases.
For a healthier future for young Filipinos, Knorr invites you to prepare nutritious, delicious, and budget-friendly meals. Let’s start with the classic beef broccoli recipe. This recipe takes only a few minutes as the Knorr Beef Cube adds delicious beef linamnam without having to marinate the meat before cooking. If your kids are picky eaters, cut the broccoli into tiny pieces. Now grab your apron and get to cooking!
