Let's Get Cooking

  • 1 First, let's season the beef with salt and pepper. Next, get a pot and make it nice and hot over medium heat. Pour some oil and sear beef on both sides.
  • 2 Remove seared beef and set it aside.
  • 3 Using the same pot, throw in the onions then pour the water in. Add the seared beef into the pot.
  • 4 Bring to a boil and simmer until beef is tender. Add water if needed.
  • 5 Add Knorr Sinigang Original Mix before adding the finger pepper and calamansi juice.
  • 6 Using a strainer with the achuete, laddle broth to the strainer until broth turns into orange. Discard used achuete.
  • 7 Season with fish sauce and pepper before adding the cabbage leaves. Give this another minute or two to simmer.
  • 8 Garnish with seedless grapes and that's our dish. Sweet and sour, is what this is about. So, try and taste and see how you'll flip over this dish.
