First, let’s give this fish a nice seasoning of salt and pepper and dredge it in flour. Shake off any excess and make sure you have already preheated a pan filled with oil for deep frying. Fry the fish until brown and just remove it and place it on a plate lined with paper towels.
Get another pan and turn the heat to medium. Throw in the onions and allow for them to sweat or make them tender before adding in the water. Let this simmer then add soy sauce and Knorr Fish Cubes.
Gently place the fish fillets back with the sugar in and reduce the sauce until you get your desired consistency. Add calamansi juice to taste and that’s our dish!
