  • 1 kg whole chicken
  • 1 pack Knorr Sinigang Original Mix
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • 1 pc ginger, sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic, whole
  • 1 pc bay leaf
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 pcs carrots, sliced
  • 2 pcs bell peppers, sliced
  • Knorr Liquid Seasoning to taste
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup rice wine
  • 1 tbsp Bango Kebab Manis
  • chili powder, as needed
  • water

  1. Begin by cooking the chicken in a pot filled with water, Knorr Sinigang Original Mix, spring onions, ginger, garlic, and bay leaf. Bring this to a boil for 1 hour. When the chicken is done, remove it from the pot so it can cool down. Then, slice this into serving pieces before deep frying in hot oil.

  2. What makes this chicken exciting to eat is the sauce that coats it. In order to prepare the sauce, you need to sauté the onions, garlic, ginger, carrots, bell peppers and mushrooms in a hot pan with a little bit of oil.

  3. Now, pour in the Knorr Liquid Seasoning, sesame oil, rice wine, Bango Kecap Manis and chilli powder. Allow the liquid to simmer until you get a rich and thick sauce consistency.

  4. With the sauce nice and hot, pour it over the crispy chicken and eat until you are bursting with happiness! You won’t be able to resist coming back for more.
