Tuna Carbonara

  • 3/4 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 piece Knorr beef cubes
  • 6 ounces tuna in oil
  • 15 ounces all purpose cream
  • 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 quarts water

  1. bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot

  2. add 1 tsp salt to the boiling water

  3. once boiling, add 3/4 lb spaghetti and cook for 10-12 minutes

  4. while the pasta is cooking, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic

  5. in a large pan, heat cooking oil over medium heat

  6. add the chopped onion and garlic then sauté for about 2-3 minutes

  7. add the 6 oz tuna to the pan with the onions and garlic

  8. crumble the Knorr beef cube into the pan and stir until the cube dissolves and the mixture is well combined

  9. add the 15 oz all-purpose cream to the pan and stir to combine

  10. let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes

  11. once the sauce is ready, add the pasta to the pan with the creamy tuna sauce

  12. you can add some parmesan cheese on top of the final dish
