  • 4 cups hot water
  • 1 (11-g) pack Knorr Sinigang Sa Sampalok mix Original
  • 200 grams pork samgyup or bacon-style cut
  • 2 pcs red onions, quartered
  • 2 pcs ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 300 g kimchi, sliced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 200 g fresh firm tofu, cubed
  • chopped leeks, for garnish

  1. Dissolve sinigang mix in hot water. Set aside.

  2. In a clay pot or shallow pot, put pork slices, red onions, tomatoes, kimchi, gochujang and sugar. Pour in sinigang stock, cover and allow to simmer until pork is cooked. Mix well.

  3. Add in tofu and leeks. Cover and continue to simmer for another 3 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
