Tempura Batter:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup ice-cold water
  • 1 egg

Pancit ingredients:

  • 1 Knorr shrimp cubes
  • 1 kg of large shrimp
  • 1 pack canton noodles
  • 4 - 5 cups of water
  • oil
  • 3 oyster sauce
  • 3 soy sauce
  • 2 sweet chili sauce
  • sugar
  • 1 whole sliced onions
  • 5 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 carrot
  • half a cabbage
  • cornstarch slurry
  • kinchay

  1. Prep the veggies. In a bowl, add in the condiments (soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, sugar, oyster sauce)

  2. Sauté the vegies then add water, add in the shrimp cubes and the canton. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and mix until the noodles are cook

  3. Prep the tempura batter and clean the shrimp

  4. Fry the shrimp until golden. Garnish it on top together with the kinchay"
