  • 1 kg chicken cut ups
  • pinoy style christmas ham, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • ½ - 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ - 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 - 3 cans pineapple juice
  • fresh pineapple (peeled and eyes removed), as needed
  • 1 - 2 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 pcs bay leaves
  • 100 - 200 g garlic, minced
  • 2 pcs Knorr chicken cubes
  • 1 - 2 tbsp Knorr liquid seasoning
  • sugar as needed
  • crispy garlic for garnish
  • spring onions for garnish
  • optional: cornstarch

  1. Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken. Set aside.

  2. In the same pan, sauté the garlic until browned. Add in the chicken and sear.

  3. Add Knorr Liquid Seasoning, soy sauce, and vinegar, let the acid cook-off.

  4. Add in the Knorr Chicken Cubes

  5. Mix in the pineapple chunks, black pepper, bay leaves, ham, and pineapple juice.

  6. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

  7. Remove the cover and reduce until you reach the desired consistency. Season to taste.
