Wild Rice is a Future 50 Food that acts as a tasty alternative to white rice. Deliciously savoury and visually appealing, it’s adds a welcome touch to any dish.
Add more flavour when cooking wild rice by adding Knorr Stock Cube, along with some aromatic herbs like rosemary, garlic, Pandan leaf, kaffir lime leaf or bay leaf while the water is simmering. Cook it for 40 minutes, then turn off the heat and leave with covered with a lid to continue cooking for another 15-20 minutes - this method saves energy and allows the herbs and to infuse much better.
For something out of the ordinary, why not puff your Wild Rice? Heat ½ cup of oil in a frying pan, add the rice.
