  • Cooking oil 15g 15ml
  • Stewing lamb with bones 8oog
  • 2 tomatoes 180g
  • 1 red bell pepper 90g
  • 1 chilli
  • Water 250g 250ml
  • 2 onions 160g
  • Ground coriander 2g 5ml
  • Ground cumin 2g 5ml
  • Medium curry powder 15g 30ml
  • Coarse ground black pepper 1.5g 5ml
  • KNORR beef cubes 16g
  • Tomato paste 50g 45ml
  • 2 potatoes 360g
  • Frozen peas 250ml
  • Fresh coriander 50ml

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until the onion is soft and golden brown.

  2. Stir in the Cumin, coriander, curry powder and black pepper and fry stirring for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the meat and brown.

  4. Blend the chilli, tomato and red bell pepper with the water and add with the KNORR beef cubes and tomato paste to the pot

  5. Cover, reduce the heat and simmer for about 45 minutes.

  6. Add the potatoes, cover and simmer for about another 20-30 minutes or until meat is tender and potatoes are cooked.

  7. Add the peas and coriander leaves towards the end of the cooking time.

  8. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with rice
