  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 pc small onion, diced
  • 4 pcs sausage, sliced
  • 1 pc small carrot, diced
  • 2 pcs whole pickle, diced

  • 2 pcs raw egg, slightly beaten
  • ¼ cup flour

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pc Knorr chicken cube
  • ground pepper to taste

  1. You will have no worries preparing this dish because it’s as easy as pie. All you need to do is, first, prepare a steamer by filling it with water half way into the pan. Let the water boil.

  2. In a large bowl, place all the ingredients for the embutido- ground chicken, raisins, onions, sausage, carrot and pickles. Add mashed Knorr Chicken Cube, Knorr Liquid Seasoning, egg and flour. Mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 - 5 portions. Wrap each portion in a piece of aluminum foil by rolling into a log. Secure the ends by crimping and folding.

  4. Place the rolled embutido into a steaming basket then steam for 40 minutes or until fully cooked. Insert a pairing knife to check if mixture is cooked.

  5. To make the sauce, get a pan and make it nice and hot over medium heat. Pour oil and throw in the garlic. Cook until slightly brown. Pour the tomato sauce, water and Knorr Chicken Cube. Let simmer and season to taste.

  6. Unwrap embutido and slice diagonally. You may also pan-fry the embutido before slicing to get a nice brown color.

  7. Chicken Embutido, served with sauce on top or on the side, is just so satisfying to eat that you can have this any day, any time of the week.
