  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Flora Buttery
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 Knorr Beef Stock Pot
  • 250 ml water
  • 250 grams couscous
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • 3 tablespoons mint leaves
  • 2 grams salt to taste
  • 15 ml Flora Cuisine for frying
  • 2 grams black pepper
  • 1 Sauté half of the chopped onions in 2 tablespoons of Flora until soft and aromatic. Add garlic, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in parsley and cook for 1 more minute.
  • 2 Prepare stock from Knorr Stock Pot and water. Pour over couscous. Put to one side for about 10 minutes.
  • 3 Combine minced beef with fluffed couscous and mint leaves. Add onion and spice mixture. Knead the mixture for a few minutes to make it soft and smooth. Put to one side to chill for 15 minutes. If you have time, chill beef for several hours. It will be easier to shape the kibe.
  • 4 Shape meat into little balls and fry, working in batches, in Flora Cuisine until deep brown and crispy. Serve with lime wedges and simple dipping sauce.
